About the Game:
As the newly elected mayor of a mid-sized community, players must solve all the problems of the current transport system. From public transport to traffic jams on outdated roads to the demand for safer travel, each request can be resolved in more than one way. But be careful, each decision has an impact on either efficiency, public satisfaction, climate impact or the town budget!

My tasks:
UI implementation:
To evoke nostalgic feelings, the team decided to reference a mixture of Windows XP and Windows 2000 looks. This was reflected in the visual presentation of the decisions as well as the overall UI.
Player feedback:
Since players needed a simple overview of their current situation, a few simple status bars were implemented. This increased their control, as some options did not clearly reflect the impact they would have.
Narrative design:
In order to make the game enjoyable while also educating the players, the game itself had to be free of distractions as the players needed to focus on the different problems, optional solutions and resulting effects. The final evaluation, consisting of a commentary on each state according to its value, was summed up in the players‘ scores.
